Training is delivered using a combination of face to face delivery in a classroom situation and theory assessment

Entry Requirements

There are no prerequisites however, participants should:

Have at least an intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills;

have a general level of fitness;

Have a good head for heights.

Units of Competency

There is one (1) unit of competency associated with this course:

Outcomes

It is expected that competent participants should be able to:

1. Identify OHS legislative requirements.

2. Identify construction hazards and control measures.

3. Identify OHS communication and reporting processes.

4. Identify OHS incident response procedures.

Upon successful completion of all assessments associated with this course participants will receive a Statement of Training on the day. A Statement of Attainment along with a construction induction white card will be issued from the RTO.

Assessment Requirements

Participants will be required to successfully complete a knowledge exam. All assessments require a 75% pass mark.

Additional Information

Participants should come dressed as if for work (e.g. Long sleeve shirt, Trousers, covered footwear)
