Overview
The new Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Traffic Management Code of Practice 2008 has been developed because of the hazards and risks associated with traffic management for construction and maintenance workers who work on, or adjacent to, a road. (Road works are defined as any construction, augmentation, alteration, maintenance or demolition on or affecting a road, including ancillary works and encroachments). In this Code it is recommended that workers involved in this type of work should be provided with training in Traffic Management Level One.
